With that belief, Dhanahitha conducted a session on October 29, 2025 for the Senior Citizens Welfare Association of Rain Tree Park, KPHB Colony, Hyderabad, focusing on how seniors can protect and manage their money with confidence.

Participants were guided through FD management, both online and offline banking, how frauds unfold, and how vigilance — from password protection and careful clicks to timely reporting — can keep their finances safe.

To make the session relatable and to foster confidence in protecting their finances across all environments, we discussed real-life cases drawn from everyday situations.

A heartfelt thank you to the Senior Citizens Welfare Association of Rain Tree Park for the invitation and their spirited participation throughout the session.

The experienced speakers gave valuable information on various aspects such as types of frauds taking place, how to report the frauds, ways to protect one's own money, eligibility criteria for availing student loans, GST and Income Tax, Banking Ombudsman Scheme, obligations and rights of customers of banks etc. In all about 1200 students and 100 staff members attended these sessions.

We note that this is the way to improve the financial literacy and the best service that can be provided to the society. We wish the team Dhanahitha all the best in their endeavours.

The talk by Mr. T V Sudhakar on October 31, 2025 was very informative and was found very useful by all the participants. Especially the information on various banking products, care to be taken to avoid financial frauds, steps to be taken when fraud happens in one's account and the estate planning including the details about Will preparation were received with keen interest by the members. Various doubts from members were also answered by Mr. Sudhakar patiently and in detail.

The entire exercise being done by the members of M/s Dhanahitha as a social service is commendable and financial literacy is the need of the hour and it needs to be spread across sections for their benefit.
